Because I’ve been where you are. I planned a micro wedding myself in Virginia and self-officiated in D.C., and it completely changed how I saw the wedding industry. I realized there weren’t many vendors helping couples create elopements that felt like a full, meaningful experience, so I stepped into that role.
With over eight years in the wedding industry and more than 100 elopements and micro weddings photographed, I’ve built a process designed to support you from start to finish. From scouting locations that feel like you to crafting a timeline that flows naturally, I help you create a day that reflects who you are, not something you’re performing

I'm based in Alexandria, VA (just outside D.C.) and work all over the DMV. Dreaming of somewhere further? I'm always up for an adventure and happy to travel wherever your love takes you. Travel fees are already included!

Elopements are usually just the two of you (or up to 25 guests), and they’re more flexible, often outdoors, and designed around what feels most meaningful to you. Micro weddings are a bit bigger (up to 50 guests) and often involve a venue and meal.
No matter what you're envisioning, I can help you choose the best fit and guide you through any location or permit logistics. Just know that more guests mean more logistics, but I’m here to help make it feel easy.

Absolutely not. Adventure is a mindset, not a mileage requirement. There are stunning views just steps from the car, and meaningful moments can happen anywhere. Think parks, gardens, or even downtown city locations. There are also plenty of short hikes to choose from if you want a taste of that kind of adventure.
Your day should feel like you. Whether that includes hiking boots or not is totally up to you.

Totally normal! I get to know both of you during the planning process, so by the time the day arrives, it feels natural. I mix candid storytelling with gentle posing to help you feel comfortable and look amazing. No forced smiles or awkward prom poses here.

We’re awkward in front of the camera. What’s your approach?

Honestly, some of the most emotional, unforgettable photos happen in wild weather. Wind, fog, and even a little rain can add so much magic and movement to your story, so as long as it’s safe, I often recommend embracing it with the right mindset.
That said, I always help you prepare a solid Plan B, and we can adjust timing or pivot locations if needed. If you’d like extra peace of mind, you can also add a Rain Date Add-On to reserve the day before or after your celebration as a dedicated backup. That way, we have built-in flexibility without stress.

What happens if the weather is bad?

I open my calendar in January for the following year, and couples typically book 9 to 18 months in advance. The most popular months—March, April, September, and October—tend to book up quickly.
While I’ve helped couples plan incredible elopements in just a few weeks, giving yourself a few months to plan allows for more flexibility and peace of mind. Reach out as soon as you're ready, and we’ll make it happen!
